New & Improved Paperless Enrollment on SchwabAlliance.com

Is your mailbox overflowing?  Do you want a more secure delivery system than having your paper statements sitting in the mailbox for anyone to steal?  How about saving a few bucks on equity trade transaction fees?  It’s all available via Schwab’s Paperless Statement and E-delivery services on SchwabAlliance.com.

Schwab allows you to receive your documents electronically instead of by US Postal Service mail.  This will not only help declutter your mailbox and countertops but it can also help protect your personal information.   You must have a valid email address and access to a PDF reader in order to receive your paperless documents.

To enroll in paperless, log onto your Schwab alliance account and select the Service tab and then the Paperless tab.  The new paperless client experience simplifies the process with the addition of the “Enroll all” option.  The page has also been reorganized by account instead of by document type.  You can also edit your email address directly on the paperless page.

Once enrolled you paperless delivery will start trade confirms and shareholder material within 2 business days.  Tax document requests must be submitted by December 31st of the current tax year. If you change your delivery preference after December 31st, Schwab cannot guarantee your change will take effect prior to the printing and mailing of the previous year’s form.  Statement requests must be submitted by 5pm PT on the last business day of the month.  If you miss the deadline your paperless subscription will start the next month.
