Colleen, Director of Finance

Colleen joined the CFA team in February of 2019 as our Director of Finance. She is responsible for accounting and bookkeeping functions for the Taylor & Co clients and all internal financial operations for CFA. Before joining CFA, Colleen worked at Trident USA health Services in Sparks as an Accounting Manager.

During her time away from the office, Colleen enjoys hiking through Loch Raven Reservoir with her husband, two daughters and her dog, Gary Williams. In the summer she eats crabs on the South River with extended family and vacations in Ocean City, New Jersey with her parents, siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins.

What Brought you to the area?

I’m a native Marylander. I graduated from Loch Raven High School and have a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Maryland, College Park. I currently live in Parkville.

What do you love about working for Chesapeake Financial Advisors?

The people and work culture. I enjoy the positive and flexible environment and working with everyone each day. Everyone is a team player working their hardest for our clients.

What is your favorite thing about working with clients?

I enjoy helping clients understand their numbers so they can manage their business successfully.
