Schwab has introduced a new voice ID service that allows you to access your Schwab accounts by saying, “At Schwab, my voice is my password.” The new technology uses voice biometrics to identify different behavioral and physical characteristics unique to your voice. It is one of the fastest and most convenient ways to securely identify yourself over the phone.

Like your fingerprint your voice is uniquely yours. The technology verifies hundreds of voice characteristics so even if you have a cold or there is background noise, the voice ID service will work. In the event that the system is unable to recognize you, your account can still be authenticated through other security questions.
